Blade Runner is a 1982 science fiction film inspired by Philippe K. Dick's novel "Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?". I saw this film when I was at engineering school and as I said in this post about why I never read 1984, I don't like very much that kind of dull science fiction as I do much prefer to read or watch metaphorical Fantasy Worlds like The Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, Star Wars or Ulysses 31.

So it's a true effort I made to watch it again during my vacation because the theme relates to what could begin in a near future - that is to say during my lifetime since I have maybe to live 40 years more (though I won't surely see the mature stage).

Well during the first 55 minutes, I almost felt asleep as there was no action. Generally I love Harrison Ford but in this film he only says 3 words in a sentence so that sometimes I wondered if he wasn't a Replicant himself :) OK you get it, I still don't like this film 20 years later (nevertheless I did remember each scene before it happens so it may have added to my boring state), but still recommend to see it as "interesting" and classic cult.
