George W. Bush (Current President's Father) invoked the new world order at several critical junctures. On September 9, 1991, he told Gorbachev in Helsinki that each crisis is "an opportunity to have develop out of this tragedy anew world order". Two days later, Bush added: "Out of these troubled times, our fifth objective - a new world order - can emerge...We are now in sight of a United Nations that performs as envisioned by its founders."
... to Clinton they all call for a New World Order ...
... which is about a World Single Global Authority ...

So what is exactly this concept of New World Order ? It's about so called Globalization and direction of a world under a One World Government, either the United States or the United Nations, no matter because what counts is that it will be directed by the Bankers and other Business Elites.
But they do not tell us the end goal ...

You're absolutly right. The reason people are so ignorant is because they do not study history in details and make the links: The United Nations is inherited from the League of Nations and the ONE who promoted his creation was Colonel House also the founder of CFR Rockefeller's well known think tank as he is a permanent honorary member:

I suppose it was inevitable that the average citizen would have neither the time nor the inclination to study and understand big business and globalization. The modern robber barons have all the time in the world to weave their web. People must begin to realize that unless we put the reins on big business and big government we will pay a heavy cost. I recommend that anyone interested re-read Eisenhower's famous farewell address on the military-industrial complex. It's more relevant today than it was when he offered it.
I don't necessarily buy into conspiracy theories, although there is some evidence here. More than most theories i've heard...

I don't like conspiracy theorists, they are making a disservice by mixing facts and fictions, that's the reason I don't like to read novel either like 1984 ( see http://hubpages.com/hub/Why_I_never_read_1984 ) because it also prevent people and myself from distinguishing between fictions and realities.
A few ago these conspirationists, mostly among catholics, prevented me to even inquiry because I thought they were mad quoting the Bible all the time:

Often when it looks, acts and quacks like a duck, it's a duck. Conspiracies do sometimes exist. Novels like 1984 make their point far more poignantly than could possibly be accomplished by a straightforward nonfiction piece. It's up to us to understand the point without creating false conspiracies in our minds. Nevertheless, counterpunch, I understand your concern about mixing fact with fiction. One of my greatest current concerns is the failure of the press to provide objective news. It's fine to hear the views of the left and of the right, but it's also important, I believe, to understand "just the facts," as Sgt. Friday would say.
George Orwell new the Global Agenda back in 1948 (1984 reversed). He was paid from the top to write about the 'Great Work', to put these ideas into your mind, like so many other 'authorized' writers have been doing since.

I just joined your fan club and will enjoy exploring your posts on these kinds of issues. I don't know what to believe at this point - but have been increasingly disturbed by the current administration's well documented maneuvers - and have certainly been aware of and read some of the evidence that it is even worse, and mush deeper, than is indicated on the surface - even in the alternative press!
I wonder then how, or even if it can be stopped. I recently posted a hub that discussed an issue (rumor?) I had heard about Bush/Cheney's enhanced "war powers" and whether a "terrorist attack" between now and the elections -probably "from Iranian terrorists" could now permit Bush to declare martial law and suspend or cancel the elections with little or nothing congress could do to prevent it. I recieved a couple of patronizing semi-polite "pat-on-the head" type comments from hubbers who appear from some of their other stuff to be pretty much right-wing. None even attemped to answer the question I brought up but, instead, tried to paint me as foolish for asking. Here is the link to my hub:

Any insight from you or others from "new world order" perspective? If the conspiracy IS as real and massive some suggest, then does itr really even matter witch "party" or "candidate" is in power?

Uhh Rob not to sound condescending but most of whats out there regarding the NWO makes it a "conspiracy fact" this is not some theory without factual evidence to back it up. Look at the privately owned financial system of the US (federal reserve), the Eugenics movement, NAFTA, FTAA, the financial backings to every major war for at least 100 years. Bilderberg, Trilateral the list goes on and on.
I'm still failing at understanding exactly what the "fifth objective" is. What is the sixth, and what were the other four?
And who was he referring to when he said "our"? Was he using code language for his peers and masters to understand, and not just words for the eyes and ears of Congress and the American public at large?
These would seem to be pertinent and legitimate questions, if we are to understand just how exactly they are attempting to achieve their "one world government".
Don't simply dismiss "conspiracy theories" out of hand. People like Bush, Cheney and those who finance them are capable of virtually anything. The wheat can usually be separated from the chaff by the wind of common sense.
This is not some conspiracy theory...it's happening right now in America. And let us undertsand that it's not just the bush/cheney crime syndicate invloved. Republicans, democrats and non-partisan folks, all are invloved in this scheme. It would be foolish to think that the new president is somehow unaware of what's going on. The U.S presidents are selected not elected.
Yes, it is happening now. If we don't remember the past we are condemned to repeat it. I don't want to offend, but who was the last world leader who stood on the platform of "change" and recommended civil police? Hitler. Scary.

This new world order is a very scary thing. 1984 was very entertaining but it would, of course, never, never happen, and now....

Of course, most of our pols would prefer the world order under the U.S.
What many people don't realize is that the U.S. was one of the founding members of the U.N. primarily so that it could influence world events and contain the growth of communism. The people yelling that we have surrendered our sovreignty to the U.N. forget that the point of the organization in the first place was as a tool for the U.S. and its allies.
